RoW 1998 Porsche 911 Turbo XLC

“Rest of World” refers to a time in the not-too-distant past when cars not bound for the US had a noticeable performance bump thanks to the lack of emissions equipment required for the North American market. This 1998 Porsche 911 Turbo S is one such car. This Glacier White UK example has a few tasteful after-market mods, including a GT-style rear spoiler with air inlets and RUF rear bumper cover. The X79 fender inlets are a factory option, along with the XLC Turbo Power Kit. Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.6-liter flat-six, driving all four wheels through a replacement six-speed manual and shows just over 84,000 miles on the odometer. The car is currently up for auction in the UK.
