Cadillac’s return to the world of endurance racing is official with the reveal of its GTP hypercar. The GTP will contest both IMSA and the WEC, including the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Unmistakably a Cadillac, styling cues from production cars abound in the GTP, with details like vertical head and tail lights and creased-edge lines present. The GTP is powered by a new 5.5-liter V8 and hybrid-electric system, with testing beginning this summer and the car debuting at the Rolex 24 of Daytona next year.
