Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet

It might seem unnecessary given the existence of the SL, but if you’ve wanted a flagship four-seater Benz convertible, you’ve been out of luck for over four decades. No longer. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet is the first convertible S-Class since 1971, and aims to be the world’s most comfortable drop-top, with an automatic wind protection system, neck-level heating, and intelligent automatic climate control that utilizes 12 sensors and 18 actuators to keep the conditions ideal. The design fits right in with the rest of the S-Class, straddling the line between sleek and muscular with grace, and the safety systems are top-notch, as well. It will be available in two variants: the V8-powered, 449hp S550, and the S63 4MATIC, which has a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo that can propel it from 0 to 60 in under four seconds.
